December Blick Pop Up Gallery Show

I participated in the December Blick Pop Up Gallery Show, my second one so far. It opened Sunday, December 3rd, at the Beverly Blvd Blick Art Materials Store.

My painting, "Nerve Candy" was in this show, here are some pics:

Quick Portrait

I just made this one, its a quick portrait oil painting and the most satisfying thing I have painted recently. Its a 5" x 7" canvas painting, hence the noticeable canvas texture

New Painting, New Show

I recently posted a new(ish) painting on my Facebook page which was also accepted into the Current "Blick Pop Up Gallery Show" , a Group Show held at Blick Art Materials on Beverly Blvd., in Los Angeles.

The Show opened Sept, 23rd and art will remain on display for seven more weeks until a week before the next Pop-Up Gallery Show.

The painting is called "LA Liquor Store Scene, Wildfires Present"

A lot has happened since my last post. Gotten more settled into my new place with more room to pain and work.

I recently made it into a group show at Gallery 207 and won 1st place in their contest and "Best of Show". The show ran from June 2nd to June 30th. I was really excited to know that my painting "Young Man with Tattoos, 40 ounce and a Fox" was printed on the cover of the gallery's "Portfolio" magazine. It was a great honor.

I have more art that is overdue to be posted on my website, so that will be up soon.

I got a feature in Mloveizm, an online art magazine!

Huntington Beach Art Walk Celebration

I know I posted this one a bit late, but interesting non-the less. I attended the HB Art Walk celebration at the ShoreBreak Hotel on January 18, 2012. I got to meet a lot of really awesome artists.

First Post

This is the first post of my new blog. Yes, another blog. This would be the third art-related blog I have created so far.

I decided to make a new one to be an all-around blog of my art with my name on the blog title, unlike my other blogs.
